I have noticed on some Valk pictures that a different license plate bracket which eliminates the reflectors is on some bikes.  Are there any plug and play license plate brackets out there that are better looking than the stock item?  A curved one or "lay down" type would be nice.

I got a very nice stainless replacement bracket (not a frame), direct bolt-on for Valk, which deleted the reflectors, from Aeromach a couple years ago.   I just looked at their (new) site, and it is not listed.  It is not a lay down.

You could call Aeromach and ask if they have any left.

I recommend a Back-Off LED plate frame, to add a run-brake line of LEDs below the plate.

HDL has a page of stuff:

I didn't like those stock looking reflectors "bugging out" from the rear. I know they serve a purpose, I just can't stand looking at them. I removed my license plate bracket and cut those off with a cutting wheel, then filed the rough edges and repainted. Mounted the plate in a cheap frame from Auto-Zone, finished whith cheap Auto-Zone nut caps.  I like it Roll Eyes
Crappy picture, try again.Well hopefully you can get the point, picture quality is poor  Sad

Hey Tundra, nice looking bike.  The wheels are really clean, are those the clear coated ones?
I have a seat basket on my SV, but yours is heavier stock.  Where did you get yours?

Jess,
The wheels are stock '98 wheels. When I got this bike they looked like an old galvanized boat trailer that had been parked in a lake for 10 years. (Really bad)
I cleaned them with a product called "white diamonds" I've tried every metal/aluminum polish that was recommended or I could find localy, even the "big names" Semi-chrome, mothers ect... Nothing worked to my standards. I saw this stuff @ a bike event and they polished the backside (inside) of an old Semi-truck wheel caked with years of grime. It came off effortlessy, right before my eyes. Sold ever since.web-site link
http://www.whitediamondpolish.com/  PS...I'm digging through my receipts for the seat basket, I'll send you a pm when I find it.
Thanks for the compliments  cooldude

Very nice bike Jess, I love that look. My seat rail came from E-Bay seller "BarryFick" He's a five star rated seller with 100 percent positive feedback. Good staight up guy to do business with  cooldude I've had several transactions with him, all good. I'll have to look you Virginia riders up next time I get up that way. I've got family on Bent Mountain, Roanoke County. I try to get up every year.
