I know, totally out of character for me... but... I've signed up early. Heck, I've even made a reservation at the Best Western... I guess with this sedentary lifestyle I've adopted, I'm becoming more and more 'normal' every day... Alas, next thing ya know, I'll be looking for a job and paying attention to local politics... Yuck! Maybe not... Too cold to ride today, but soon... that should straighten me out...

HotGlue,

I've been trying to make this for about three years or four years, and something has always gotten in the way. I'm still trying again this year. Had hoped to be joined by a couple of others, but life got into the way for them as well. Here's to hope!

I'm workin on  it. Talking to James about doing the trip together. Stay tuned. Film at 11! I'd love to finally make it. It would be a long way to go to finally meet Oss (even though we live only a couple of hours apart).

Finally did it! WoooHooo! Now I can't wait for less than a month to pass. cooldude cooldude cooldude

Sorry, but somehow the sign-up for the event kept putting my name on the "who's going" list before I hit submit, so there I am looking like a have a split personality. Should be just one of me, and from FL, not CT. Maybe you can edit it out.

We talked today, and that is the plan. Some details to confirm, but looks now as though we plan to leave around Thursday at 4 am, meet up at 6, and put most of the miles  behind us on day one so we can arrive in Friendswood Friday afternoon.

Lookin' forward to it. Been a long time coming, but now it's here, and I am stoked!

Although I have owned & riden a Valk-IS for the past 14 years, this will be my first actual Valk specific event.  Most of the rallys I have been to (Sturgis, WingDing, Roar by the Shore, etc), have seen very few Valks.  Have been hearing about GotF for several years (from the Old Geezer Richard) and since I will not be able to make Inzane again this year, I figure this will be the next best thing.  Look forward to meeting some other Valk owners and seeing some nice bikes.  Cant believe how many Valk riders from out of state are coming.  Cant wait to hear all the "phat ladies singing"!
