120+ signed up and, I believe that is about par the last few years.  Seems I am the only one from Arkansas again.  Looking forward to good friends and good food.  I hafta find a good seafood restaurant while I am there.  Arkansas thinks catfish is seafood.
Psycho knows all the good seafood places in Galveston... we'll have to head over there.

Just registered my sainted (she would say tainted  Grin) Mother and her wonderful husband, Dave, for their first GOTF!  WOO to the HOO!  Y'all take it easy on them.

Just kidding.  He's pretty laid back.  She's a hoot!

Must be something in the Brazoria County water.  She's from Alvin...

For all those headin' to GOTF and passing through southern Louisiana, and the mileage and time will work for you, I'm offering my place for respite to weary riders and co-riders which would put you a days ride from your destination. I have a huge unattached (from my house) game room with lotza recliners, couches and daybeds. I can easily sleep about a dozen folks depending on how friendly you are or about to get. LOL  I also have a very nice pool bathhouse with all the amenities in case you would like to clean up. The game room has a 50 in. TV, microwave, refrig., bar and is completely carpeted. YOU WILL BE COMFORTABLE!!! Anyone wanting some of this action just pull out your map and see if it can figure into your road plan. I'm a straight shot 4 miles north of IS 12 on LA HWY 59 not IS 59. They are close so don't get confused. All good pavement. Plenty room to park maybe 50-60 bikes. We can all go out and eat or if you're road weary, we can order pizza. I host Christmas parties for my SCRC and GWRRA riding friends so I can appreciate the unbelievable effort that goes into the GOTF event. My hat's off to you folks. I am trying to see if I can make it over there but it depends on  my workload. Email me and I can send pics of the room for y'all. Take care out there and keep the shiny side up.  Gary and Mary Achee

Very cool of you to offer up your place. I have had many folks lay over or just stay and hang out at my place. Good folks are always welcome. I would gladly take you up on your offer but I will be heading south out of Colorado. Know that you are always welcome to stay at my place if you are ever in CO.  cooldude

Misfit, I just rode Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and all the states to get there and back. Did this back in August. Wow, loved every minute of it. I don't know when I'll be back there seeing how this was supposed to be my last hoorah ride before I'm too old to do it. However, since Troutdude supervalked one of my Interstates, I have been reborn. This bike looks and feels so cool that I'm relivin' my youth again.
Skinhead, We need to stay in contact 'till then. My phone is 985-892-7226 and you need to cross that causeway and visit with me and we can ride the northshore.

Hotglue,
I am really trying to arrange things so that I can make it over there and am lookin' forward to meeting y'all because like I said in an earlier post, I have the utmost respect for you to do all of this. I don't know how many of your attendees have ever entertained on this scale before but I hope they appreciate it as much as I do. From all the posts I have read so far, it looks like the whole bunch of them are good folks and I'd love meeting them. Whenever you come east, you have a place to stay right here.

Signed up. Only 975 miles one way to GOTF.. Less than a ride to Key West for me by 25 miles.

Will be on my best behavior.

I don't really know how that measures up to good.

But best behavior, it's for the kids.

If you leave the house without Rain Gear, you deserve what you get.

I had a buddy, Mad Dog, his wife packed his brand new rain gear, but instead of new

pants and Top, he had two pair of pants in the saddle bag.

So don't let your wife do your packing, perfect gotcha opportunity.

We were on a short ride to Key West when this happened. Boy he was Mad. Mad Dog.

We made it anyway, thanks to Dicks Sporting Goods. Mad Dog is a part time WILD BUNCH RIDER

as well.
