The weather was absolutely perfect for a ride. Not too many bikes on the road in the morning, but plenty on the way home in the afternoon. Joined BillyBoy at the usual meetup at the Hess Station in Brooksville:

Then a ride through Inverness to scout Red's Restaurant in Hernando (Dunnellon) for a future VRCC meetup. Of course any scouting trip involves trying the food and we found it to be delicious.

We also checked out Stumpknocker's just down the road. Because of the size of the outside area, this would be a great place for a meetup. The location is amazing. The menu features fresh seafood. A Wing rider we talked to highly recommended the food. Here's the menu: http://stumpknockersontheriver.com/

Had to save the guys from a man-eater by using the 'ole finger-in-the-nostril trick:

The boys show their gratitude:

Thanks for the pictures Pennie.  I remember that alligator and the river view.  There was a very large boat there when we ate there that was for sale.  We wondered how it even made it into the channel.  Looked like a great day to get out and ride.  Temperature was 48 yesterday morning here and windy most of the day.
