the one that DD and Sixlow have is called a Utopia fold down backrest.  Good option for OEM seats.  I find it difficult to ride without a backrest now that I am used to it.

I agree Terry, on both counts. When I bought my Ultimate I included a backrest and didn't like either the shape or size, so bought a Utopia and Des covered it for me to match the seat. Fortunately, the Utopia will mount to the Ultimate lower bracket. In recent years I also find it more comfy to ride with a backrest. Guess we're not getting any younger.  Wink

Utopia Is What I have On My Red & Black Standard And My Interstate, They Are Great With The Stock 2000 & Newer Std, / Tourer Seat And The Ultimate King Big Boy Seat On My Interstate.I Don't Think That I Could Live Without Them After Owning One.

Rhe Utopia is a great backrest. It sure make one very nervous making the first slice into the seat to prepare the mounting hole. I couldn't do it and paid the vendor to do it.      ???

I love my Utopia, it is an imaginary place considered to be perfect or ideal... coolsmiley

Utopia;  ideally perfect state, especially in it's social and political and moral aspects.... Shocked
