We got there after dark, and it was closed.  Bad planning, disappointing outcome.  Still, been there!  ;-)

four corners is a unique dot on the map that will set you about 6 bucks for a picture. there is gas within 60 to 70 miles so be careful. I would take a GPS with gas stations. Mine has a 160 mile safe range so you should be fine. There is gas in Kayenta, Durango, Farmington and there all within 75 miles. Lots of pretty desert but four corners was not that exciting. Ride safe

What he said...

Personally, Monument Valley offers more as a return investment scenic-wise between the two. Monument Valley is due north of Kayenta. If you've never been, its a good one to run through, before the heat kicks in too much.

Four Corners, as mentioned by someone else, is a bit disappointing other than checking it off of The List. Of course you'll be close enough to catch them both.  cooldude

Now if its the 4 Corners of the US, that's a different run altogether. That would be still pending to check off on My List.

I made that trip several years ago, just for my doing, not giving Mr Kneebone $$$$ to get a piece of paper.

I live in Iowa, so I went North the Blaine, WA, then South down Hwy 1 to San Ysidro, CA.  Cheated her I took Mexico Hwy 20 over to Tecate to go North to the US again.     Now you would need a Passport.    Took I-8 to South of Phoenix and caught I-10 to I-95 in Florida, dropped down to Key West, came back out and staid on I-95 North to Maine, and caught Canada 1 to Edmunston.   You have now hit all 4 corners of the US.

I carried a small can of gas on the trip, just in case.   Never needed the gas to make the trip.      Only suggestion I have for you, is if you have about 80 miles on your tank of gas and see a gas station, pull in and fill it up.   Just playing it safe.

A friend of mine and I did it in 1978.
We did the southwest and northwest corners with the 3 Flags Classic crowd.
The northeast with some friends.
The southeast just the 2 of us.

The way we did it was about 13,000 miles, took 4 weeks.
We were in no hurry and certainly did not take the shortest route.

We both rode Goldwings, 1977 and 1978.

Had a great time mostly camping and hotels a few nights.
Biggest expense was by far gas, even then.

I was talking to a friend who lives in Dallas TX he is going to meet me in San Antonio TX there will just be two of us and he rides a gold wing with a trailer and 2 extra gallons of gas so we should be fine. thanks for your input  And Take Care be Safe.

You have to store your photos on the Internet on a site like Photo bucket.  When you have them stored,  you need to copy the" [ img  ] link and post it in your post.   You will need to have both winows open so you can copy the link in one window and paste it into the other.
I hope this helps you post your pictures.   I, for one,  can't wait to see them.
