Any auto electrical shop should be able to do a rebuild.  It is nearly identical to most auto alternators. I plan to use one if the damn thing ever quits.  10 years and 127,000 miles on mine.  Hoser  Shocked

Hoser, you should line up a spare or find the brushes for your existing one. I have 95,000 miles on my 03 Std. Had it repaired yesterday, brushes completely worn off. Rewind shop had it done in a couple of hours, What a hassle getting it out and back in though.  Damn engineers never picked up a wrench.
The only good thing is, now, I have a spare battery.
