Hey, Im thinking of making enough changes to one valk so as to be differnt from my 2 up Valk. I have seen numerous bobbed type fenders. And some look like stockers that have been cut and some look to be custom. I am looking for thoughts and suggestions. I am also looking at putting drag bars on and losing the windshiels (full face required). I have also seen some pretty radical exhaust out there. Oh and Im trying to do this as cheaply as possible.

Thanks in advance

Hmmm, ,,,  "Change" and "Cheap",,,, about the only thing those two words have in common, is their first letter when it comes to MC parts!   ???    Shocked    Sad

We met up and swapped tins and I had a Red and White '98

I used a vtx fender just because it was available. have to graft the front lower section of valk fender to it just under the seat but the lines work out nice in my opinion.

How about a "Rat Rod" look. Used parts were not put on my bike but I did do a bit of homework.

Sweet Valk Momz,

Yes Im just looking for a different look on one of the Valks. We are keeping one for 2 up and then chsnging up the other one, that either one of us (but not both at the same time) can enjoy.

Thanks for the input

I'm pretty sure that the front fender from the VTX1800c is a direct fit.

Chopped and sectioned Valk rear fender, 1100 Shadow Ace front fender.  Taillights are a set of Interstate trunk lights siamesed togeather.

Funny, but it is the first two letters, and I'd like to believe a little creativity goes a long way in keeping the price down.

I know this is an old post I'm tacking onto, but I've been thinking along the same line, but looking for a new front and rear fender, as I want to keep the original in case I want to go back.  Just wondered if anyone had "bought" custom fenders anywhere. I'm thinking I could also pick up a used front and rear valk fender, possibly, and grind, cut, weld up a new pair. I've got the tools for cutting, welding, grinding, just not for forming. Thanks!

The thought of acquiring (from salvage) and modifying fenders is most practical.  Consider VTX for the front.
