Is there any other model solo racks close enough to be semi easily modified to fit good on a valk? The shadow 750 ace looks like it might, but???

Back when I was looking for one I heard repeatedly that the Shadow's was the closest to adapt.
So, it sound like you are hearing the same thing. Wink

Good luck.

There is a thread on here (somewhere) with pictures and how-to of a mod to something else made into a valk solo rack.  I think from last year some time.

Solo racks are three point mounts, small bag racks are four point mounts (pretty sure).

I think this is as close as you are going to get, save the Valkyrie OME. Wink

I tried a search, I do poorly searching on here.

Don't give up on searching, the write up should be found, the rack used in the write up looks way better than that thin-wire thing.

This one looks like it's for the shadow with a Bobbed Tail like the 1100 Spirit or the older 750 spirit because of the up-yurn at the end.  There is one out there for the older model 750 ACE that only has one curve to it, just like the ones for the valkyrie.  I've heard of that one being modified by just using large washers.  It'll be hidden under the front seat so the mod won't be seen.
