I have Valkyrie-specific risers that look identical to those. They look nice and work well.

I plugged in my 98 tourer and it said they were not compatible.

Look around.  I have 4" risers that look like those, for metric bikes, no reaming or anything.  And with the stock bars and controls, you won't need longer cables and lines.

These are probably them.  I have them about 10 years (and still look good) so don't remember where I got them or what I paid.

Wish I could find the article I read about those particular risers. The guy was a valk owner and had put them on several months earlier. Said he hit a pothole or something of the like that jarred his front end pretty good. He ended up with a snapped riser and handlebars that he could barely steer with. He had photos of the snapped riser. It snapped at the very thin spot where the handlebar notch is reamed out. Just happens to be the weakest spot on the riser. Scared me enough to stay away from them. could have been a bad batch, not sure, one thing I am sure of, there's no way you'd ever hold them liable for something like that.
