Is that a Honda backrest? It looks like the vinyl used doesn't match the seat.

Chrome side covers were $200 for both. I would think they would look a little better on the black or red Valk as they both have more chrome than the blue model. I still like them on my blue model. I kept the black covers and may swap them out every so often when I get the bat signal in the sky . The side covers are quite big, so they add quite a bit of chrome to the bike overall.

Backrest: Yes it is the Honda backrest. I didn't really notice it before, but you are right, they vinyl is a little different than the seat. The seat is more of a fine finish, where the backrest has more of a classic leather-like pattern/feel. Since I really didn't notice it when I saw it the first time, I'm not too worried about it.

Looks really nice. Can I ask, what are your plans for the old black side covers. I am looking to get new side covers in black with the Valkyrie badge, as over here in the UK the covers are black but has the F6C badge on it, don't like that would rather have Valk badge. Or would you know if I could get side covers in black anywhere

I was going to hold on the the black covers for now. I might want to swap back to black at some point. If I decide to just stick with the chrome, I'll let you know.

Hi there. Thanks for the reply, that's great. If you do decide to stick with the chrome and not black I would really appreciate if you could let me know. Not much info or ability to get stuff over here in the UK. Your bike looks great with the extras. Hope to speak to you again soon. Take care ride far

I don't know if the new photos of the saddlebags are growing on me, or if I'm running out of ideas on what to spend my $1000 bonus bucks on.
But, I tend to agree with the 'balance of the bike' front to back. I may grab some since the aftermarket will prolly not have anything for a while. Plus, I need some better way of carrying 'stuff'.

I vote Studded bags as they work well.
But those chrome sides are looking better and better each time I look

Was thinking about the chrome side covers. Got the Red/Chrome myself two weeks ago and spent my "Honda bucks" on lights/harness, rack/mount, and the crappy "boulevard" screen that does nothing with the wind. To be honest with you, I do not really care for the look of the Blue with chrome covers because the majority of the Blue is blacked out. However, I think it would look pretty good on the Red due to the chrome valve covers, headlight/guage, and the fuel filler cover. It looks out of place to me honestly. Not trying to offend by any means. Everybody has an opinion and as long as you like it, that is what counts.
