I am in Detroit (Sterling Heights) on a six month consulting project. Just hauled my Valk up here and was wondering if there are any other Dragon riders up here.

There are a lot of VRCC members in metro Detroit. As a matter of fact we had (at one time) the largest VRCC chapter in the country.

A few became Rogue Riders, there are still a few in Macomb county (Sterling Hts, and the surrounding area) and a few of us joined ABATE Region 14.

ABATE Region 14 has weekly rides in Washtinaw, Livinston, Ingam, Jackson, and Monroe counties on the twisty scenic back (rural) roads.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

You know, there is one thing we can do on a Valk that you can't on a Harley....

Ride standing up for a long while a 5 MPH!!!

Lotsa nice rides out here today... will be at Ford Alley tonight on 9 Mile in "Fabulous" Ferndale..... Tomorrow the madness!

A bunch of the michigan guys are riding up to St. Ignace this weekend.

Watch the michigan board for ride and event info.

http://www.mivrcc.com

A couple of the guys live really close to sterling heights.

We try to get together at least once a month for a ride/dinner.

Usually someone is up for riding on any given weekend if the weather is decent.

First off...apologies to the Admins for having to move my post from the Tech Board to here....not sure what I was thinking.

Momz and al v... glad to hear there are Dragon riders in the area. I will reach out to meet up. May run up to Port Austin today to check that out.

Brad Valk....Rode with a buddy of mine to the Dream Cruise yesterday. It was incredible.

Rugguy,

I'm at 16 mi and Rochester rd in Troy.  PM or call, or stop by some time.  If you need to work on your Valk while here I have tools and a lift if needed.
