Some unfortunate stuff for me.  I left home Thursday morning in stayed the night in Napa, ID.  Then Friday morning I was rear ended on I-85.  Some ass in a pickup hit me, then hit the truck in the lane next to me, then took off.  My Valkyrie is totaled and sitting at Carl's Cycles in Boise, ID.  $4800 damage on a bike that books for about 5200.  I am beat-up and bruised but nothing serious I think.  Lots of stuff hurts right now but I will be ok.  I may still make it to InZane but not on a bike.

So sorry to hear that. That is awful! I live in Nampa. Whooray, Redline, Icelander and Domino1 all left there Thursday. Wish you'd been with us. Keep us posted with your situation and needs. I have contacts in the area. Glad you're OK.

I'm camping next to Farther, he's in one piece but understandably quite pissed off with the whole deal!

Just a followup.   No lasting effects it seems.  The Foremost Insurance came through with a check for my totaled bike and now life can move on.

Ya, as I stood there on I-84 with six lanes of eastbound traffic, I thought it was lucky that I wasn't hit by a passing car.  The people of Boise, Idaho, including the State Police were great, other than the ass that hit me.

What is an insane? Is it a get together of Valkyrie bikes? And where exactly is this going to be? I've been to spearfish canyon and there is a real nice motel there is this the meeting spot?

Hey JDP. It's called "INZANE" and it's held every year. The location varies to make it different, exciting, and accessable to everyone. INZANE XVI is being held in West Virginia. It's on the forum. Look it up. It's a wonderful gathering of Valkyrie enthusiests. Great rides, great company, and a just a lot of fun.
