Seemed like a success last month when a place was picked without voting. I was going to try to have a Saturday meeting but I was told I would be busy that date along with possible RFK conflicts. So....

Training is also the 9th for the Ride for Kids. So I will not be attending the club meeting.
I'd like the officers to consider moving the meeting out one week to the 16th to avoid the conflict. We did this when Valentine's Day fell on the meeting date and many marriages were saved by doing so.

While that is a good idea, I would not be able to lead that meeting. If there is enough RFK conflicts I can reschedule for next week and one of the VPs can take the lead again.

This week is better for us unless it is early in the week. We will not be here on the 16th. We are leaving early for Hill Country in order to do a memorial ride for a dear musician friend who left us WAY too soon.

We had a decent turn out. Hollyday, Baron, Wdan, Bossman, Sixguns, Rainmaker, Timbo, PlaneCrazyGal, BnBTom, and myself. Good food, free appetizers, and good company.
Talked a bit about a possible Saturday ride/meeting next month, weather permitting. Thats hunting season for myself, so it will have to be on the 15th of Nov or one of the VP's could take the lead on this one.
Also Hollyday and myself will be hosting the Christmas party, setting a dangerous precedence for future Presidents, this year at our house on Dec 6th, probably around 6 PM start. There will be a chinese / white elephant gift exchange of gifts around $15 worth, preferably bike related.
More details on both will be coming in the future.
