I've always liked this bike. Makes one wonder what happens to these bikes when the owners move on to other things. ??? What ever happened to Gear Jammers Bike (Super451E-B098-4AFE70570B37-435-0000001D8C53E5F6_zps14825373.jpg[/img]
GearJammer and his wife retired in Ecuador, hope he took it with him, should be some good riding down there.

Last I had heard, Bobby was going to sell it to a co-worker, but the deal fell through.  Probably still has it in storage near Tomball/Magnolia.

Nice to see something besides the stock colors. Also not a fan of green, but anything besides the stock colors is a major improvement to these bikes. Mine is headed to the painter this winter along with some big fender mods among other things.

Oh, that's not MINE, that's one I found online -for sale in Europe - but I liked the color, and used it as a starting point to find the "right paint".  Need the final buff and re-badging before I'll be finished - but will post pics when done!

Who was it that painted a Valkyrie bright orange with racing stripes, a la a Chevy SS?

It wasn't a Valk but a chopper sorta thingy I've seen with paint like that.  I gotta say, I really liked the bright orange with the white racin' stripe.   cooldude

It was Doug that painted his Valk that way.  If I remember correctly he was out of the Carolinas.  That was a while back and I don't remember his handle.

Doug lives in Mississippi... I see him on Facebook sometimes. I'm pretty sure he still has the GO VOLS ( orange and white ) Interstate. I sent him a message on FB and ask if he still owned it... I'll post back to this thread when I hear back from him.

That looks really sweet, almost the shiny copper penny look I've always loved on vehicles.

I'm still kicking and still own the SS Super Valk. She still runs like a raped ape and still puts a smile on my ole face. Thanks for all of the compliments all. That truly was a long work in progress.

It's beautiful !. I got worried for a minute though. I thought you had a scratch on the tank in the next to the last pic, then I realized it was your reflection cooldude Very sharp bike.

Bighead, couldn't agree more! As I was looking to buy a Valk. I looked at many but the best one, ie price, condition and so on. It was/is black. I really did not want black. I bought it, love it and ride it. I live here in NE Ohio, so my days are numbered. Hoping to be able to swing ($) a paint job over the winter. Already found a set of Interstate Bags for it. Still trying to come up with a color. Leaning towards BRIGHT Orange. Cheesy

One of my favorite cars in one of my favorite color scheme.

Ya know, seeing it all together - I have to say, that's one sharp bike!  Really like the layout of the accents too.

Now you just need a second pilot so you can have the green and yellow go down the road together!
