Uncle Bert stopped by this morning and dropped off the 11.5" Progressive shocks.
After work I popped Lesa's bike up on a jack and changed from the IS shocks to the Progressives.
With my old Saddleman seat on it or the Ultimate Low Boy (on loan from Uncle Bert) she can flat foot the bike now....barely but she can.
All the carb parts came in the mail today as well so that's next on the list.

Will have a set of IS shocks up for sale here for you two-up masters!
Will also be selling the Hondaline windshield and bracketry as well. Way too much windshield for her.

Iris's standard had a Memphis Shades windshield on it when we got it.  Buffeting was very bad.  So we looked for and found an OEM Hondaline windshield and it took care of that problem.  I suggest that although it looks like a barn door up there it would be worth her trying it before going to something smaller that would cause the wind buffeting problem.  At least keep the Hondaline until she declares the replacement was the right way to go.  Baker air wings took care of the remaining wind related problems.

I Second That Motion. It Is Good To Keep The Stock Windshield Until You Make The Final Decision On What Suits Her Riding Needs Or Wants.

Will give it a try.
I have a shortie windshield on mine and lowers and haven't been plagued by buffeting. The lowers really help that issue.
When I had my 1600 Vulcan the buffeting was so bad it was hard to keep focus with my eyes until I bought lowers for that beast. Problem solved.

I think the Valk Tourer windshield is the best looking windshield out there!!!! Along with the Shadow Tourer and VTX Tourer Windshild.  And I love the feel/sight it offers while riding.  I sure hope I can score a  Valk Tourer one day!! I should send Sherry some flowers!

Pappy it may help to lower the front end by loosening the triple tree clamps and let the fork tubes extend out of the top by only a half an inch or so. That may be all Lesa needs to get completely flat footed.

Won't change the geometry much with only small change to the fork height.

Fancy intake covers there Pappy.  I just use rags. Smiley  I know that you are a carb guy from way back that thing should purr like a kitten when you're finished.
