Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

But still going to go up and see it in person in a couple of days.  Flew out of Angola Saturday evening and flew into London on Sunday morning.  Went in search of some good fish and chips.  Found the Wellington Hotel and Pub under the train overpass right by the Waterloo station.  They did their own hand batter.  Pretty good - but not perfect yet!

Then I just rode on buses for the rest of the day (and some tubes).  Found the Maritime Musuem in Greenwich right next to the Royal Observatory.

Then I found Chinatown AGAIN by Leichester Square....

And dug on some way cool Chinese....

Hey, I do treat this trips like a road trip ya know....

Anyway, on the way home today from London to Houston, I guess they were trying to avoid the winds from Hurricane Bill, but we flew over Greenland and the Hudson Bay down through Lake Michigan and Wisconsin and down to Texas.  SO, I got to see it from the air, now will get to see it up close and personal on the Minnesota ride in in a few days!

Whooooo-hoooooooo!!!!!

Anyway, just got in the house.  Made one phone call to Bear only to find out he is without a job again after only a month and a half....CHIT!!!!!!!!

Always great fun to follow your adventures. Enjoy your ride up to the future frozen northland. I hear the skeeters are so big they have their own zip codes! Cheesy

Strider,

Give a shout out if you're in the Milwaukee area or if you need anything - directions, names of good places to see, where to buy snow shovels.......but I'd guess if you're going to Minnesota you might just brush the southwestern part of our state.  Black Dog and I live in the general Milwaukee area.

Enjoy- the weather has been cooler than normal -perfect for riding.

Let's see, I know of one coonass and four Texacans coming up..... (property values will never be the same!)

Come to think of it, looking at the posts, you got two happy feetin' Texacans already lowering the property values up yonder right now......Good, sets a standard for the rest of us coming up this week.

Hey, Strider, even with all of the sights, sounds, smells and food you experience, you still have one of the roughest work schedules I've heard of.  If your travels bring you through Evansville, IN, you know you're welcome to stay at our place instead of a motel.
