What kind of mileage are you getting on your rear Cobra tire?

Does that 200/60 fit without issues? Makes it a little taller?

Does that 200/60 fit without issues? Makes it a little taller? I ran a 200 series Bridgestone with no issues. As stated it's wider. I never noticed much difference in rpms from being taller. Only had it on for 6,500 miles before the tire was showing strips and replaced with a car tire.

Interesting...I run a Valk tire on the back of my Wing due to it being taller than the OEM size. Figured the 200 would be wider, but also a little taller based on profile.

I know there are exceptions, however if you are considering a 200/16-16 width tire, I highly recommend you follow the nut cage modification as presented in the forum. This easy modification, should provide enough clearance for any brand.

The size of the rear tire is easier to remember if you use the 8-7-6 mnemonic (180/70-16).

Does that 200/60 fit without issues? Makes it a little taller? Yes, it fits without issues. It's a wider tire. I used to run the 200 series Bridgestone which costs much less and handles even better (sticks like glue) but I couldn't get 10k out of it. Avon gets me double the mileage, good handling and a fat cool looking MC tire.

Are there no concerns or issues with putting the Avon 200/60 tire which is designed for a 5.5" rim on our 5" rim?? Change of face profile, contact patch, etc.??

I have 4 bikes with the Avon Cobra 200/60/16 and have put them on many bikes with out any clearance problems. Just stick in on and go. You will love it.

Bummer. Now you guys tell me. I just installed standard sized Cobras front and rear. Although the 180/70-16 is adequately beefy for the "phat gurl", another (almost) inch would have been nice. ...next time. (and good to know). There are lots of motorcycles that pretty much are max'ed out with factory spec tire sizes. Especially shaft-driven bikes.

I run the 200 series. I did the nut cage modification but I come closer to the swingarm.
