Surely SOMEONE has NEW pics of their ride?  Besides, we can't let Raymond's ride to work thread overtake this very important thread!

Blackduck's bike, which used to be mine.

In that picture, yes.  I used it that way for 3-4 years but the stock luggage rack eventually cracked.  I then went with a set of I/S fender rails, and trunk mounting rails.  I fabricated a plate to bolt to the I/S trunk mounting rails, and attached the Givi plate to it.  I got the rails for a very good price(free i think) from my good friend Highbinder, or it would have been rather expensive to do that.

I also used the Interstate rack and rails ( ebay ) for this setup. Alluminum plate bolted to rack. Old tour pak made for Harley years ago. I actually had to save it, new paint and had the rails re-chromed. Found the backrest at a second hand store by accident, $20.00.

growing up my mother was deathly afraid of motorcycles, when i got my first Yamaha at age 30 she was so pissed at me she didn't talk to me for over a month.  last year i sent her a christmass card with pictures of me and my Valk.  believe it or not, she told me that it was a beautiful motorcycle!!  i guese she just didn't like Yamaha's!!

oh, check out the shield i put over my oil filter.  had to hide that ugly thing somehow!!

On one of the trips to Colorado... what a nice ride!!!  Wish I were there now!

And below, the original black and chrome, which I still miss.. I think it was better, not sure why!  This was several years ago, before the divorce and a greedy ex wife...etc. etc. etc....

Hey RJ,

love those servicars!
i've been looking for a good deal on a rear axle from one to do a Honda CB750 trike, but they're way too costly now, usually $1700-$2000 fo a decent one!  so i picked up a chain to shaft gear box from a yamaha & i'm goin' to adapt that to a CB750 tranny & go shaft drive using a chevy S10 rear end. but that's a ways off.
tomorrow i'm picking up a '57 chevy rear end to convert Bettie (picture below) to an open drive shaft (she's got the enclosed, original  "torque tube"). i wanna replace the 3 speed with a T5, better milage & drop the rpms on the old stovebolt at highway speed.

too many projects? YEP!

Yo Bigdan, Nice ride, you gonna love that T5 .......I did my Ponch, best mod to date.

80's Camaro T5 with S10  tailshaft to allow shifter to clear bench seat, Pro 5.0 shifter and Hurst stick

Oh ya and in keeping with the thread
