I am also a member of the Chaparral Riders Club. The are having a trip to Death Valley on April 25th for an over nite stay in Beatty. If any of you would like to join us here's the information you need.

No sign up necessary, just show up.

Chaparral Riders Death Valley Trip
April 25-26

Route
Leaving from Chevron Hwy 15/138 08:00 KSU April 25
Looks like the route will be going up 395 to Trona road and Panamint Valley.

 
 
 They are a group of riders with women and men with varying riding skills.

Dave, I did a solo ride up Trona Wildrose Rd. quite a few months ago. There is an area towards the end where it connects with Panamint Valley Rd that is not paved. It was washed out a year of so ago. It is about five miles long and was in gravel when I did it. It was tough, I'm not the greatest rider but if you have anyone with less skill then me on the ride your going to be in trouble. http://www.desertusa.com/dusablog/death-valley-morning-report-031915.html

I did that three weeks ago, I got buzzed by the fighter jets at the lookout, the roads were great.
