I have a 2014 F6C and I must admit the stock seat isn't working for me.  I'm considering the Corbin Gunfighter Seat.  I ride solo and I'm looking for a better solo seat.  I would appreciate any opinions from anyone who has a Corbin Solo or Dual saddle.

I thought I had a picture, but... anywho, Larry really likes his Corbin seat on his f6b...

I like my Corbin seat on my 2014 Valkyrie...

I think Ultimate makes a solo seat for f6b's... might want to check that out... I
don't hear much good about gunfighter seats on original Valkyries...

I've had my Gunfighter for 30 days and 1000 miles now, I like it a lot. At first, it felt hard, as with all the Corbin's I have owned. After two weeks of riding, I switched back to the original seat. It felt horrible, way too soft and not supportive. So I put my Corbin back on and haven't looked back. I also really like the back support, with the way it is cut, you don't need a back rest. I would recommend.  cooldude

Thanks guys.  I just ordered it.  I requested a nose job, since I've had other Corbin seats and the nose needs a trimming in order to put my short legs on the ground.  Sadly, a 6 week wait.

maddog and UK - so after putting on many miles on the gunfighter over the last year, what are your overall thoughts? i was thinking of pulling the pin and getting one with a backrest

This is interesting , he put the OEM seat back on and it felt too soft  so it put the Corbin back on because the hardness felt better , hmm , yes , Corbin's are hard  , don't know what all the hype is about  when it comes to a Corbin

I just ordered a corbin - all black leather - and I asked for some softer foam layup because my first to corbins were HARD. I went with one Back rest. Hoping she can used the backrest and I can used her breasts.

I have a 1500 and 1800 Valk and the seat space for the passenger is not as much on the 1800. Its a fairly intimate position a rider and driver are positioned on this bike.  Cool

For those not ready to empty their wallet on a Corbin, try a local seat shop, in NC I had Mean city cycles redo my stock seat with much improvement for $150, they also do mail in. In AZ I use Don Hendrickson in Gilbert, Don has been doing this since 1953, if he ever gets too old his daughter will keep it rolling.  cooldude

If you are directing your request for a pic of my re cushioned seat, I won't use a pic hosting site so I can't post pics here but my seat looks same as original, they installed better foam and relieved material from the tailbone area, also I had them relieve the area at the hold down screws making it easier to remove and install the seat screws. The screws are no longer tucked under the cushion.

I had this done at Meancitycycles.com , the website has prices and descriptions of their various seat services.

Are there places you will post them without using a

No worries on the pic then.
I had mine redone this last winter, but have found it more uncomfortable than before and turned out to be a waste of money for me. Next winter will be seat replacement time for me if I can make it till then!
