The worse seat attachment I've ever seen in my 47 years of riding and 100+ bikes I've owned over those years.

the 2 small screws (4 in total) that hold down the rider and pillion seats that are tucked under the cushion.

Good grief! If your talking about the 2014-2015 I think it's fine. Did you want a hinge?? to flip it up? I can understand that, but since there is no storage under the seat I don't need access often. So I can live with it. 2 bolts and it's off and out of the way

I guess its my arthritic fingers that make it difficult to pull the cushion back and get the little screw started.
