Woah... it looks like you live in a pretty good riding area... where is that"

Anyone else get out?

I was almost ready to leave on the 1500 to roll up to "Kuykendall" up near Brevard
where some friends of mine are staying for a few days... I was figuring out just
how to get there when  I saw that you have to go through this:

On River Rd. just North of Callicoon, NY..

Geeze Mike, I'd have second thoughts about that puddle too. I do ride dirt roads, easy peasy when dry. However, add slippery mud and the Valks become quite a handful! Evil

St2sam- your first picture with the mountain in the background nice Shot! But that road you were on with all the loose stones is the type of road I would avoid- not because of traction issues, but I would be afraid of kicking up the stones and  chipping paint or putting a hole in the coolant overflow tank- it's just thin plastic!

I really like the way your bike looks lowering the bags made all the difference, the bike seems to pull together nicely. How much in height is the riser on the handlebars?

Yep, Mike is right.

I couldn't find a riser that would work without modification, so I decided that I might as well keep the OEM riser and make my own bars.  With Mike's help I was able to pull it off and not miss any riding time.  cooldude
People always comment about them.  If I were to do it again I would make the bars a little shorter, but they work great for me.

Kidd,

That would involve getting new shorter cables made and new shorter brake and clutch lines made.  I don't want it that badly.

Need some help here for the not so tech savvy. In order for me to see most of these photos Photobucket wants me to upgrade to a 500 plus account at $399. Call me cheap but I don't feal the need to spend 399 bucks to look at photos.  Any suggestions as to a work around?  I may be doing this wrong.

It's not you, Fotofocket pulled the plug on all pictures hot linked, if you had a free account with them.
