I wet my pants in the first few miles. Well not really but I was sold that fast!  Wow what a ride, and thank you all of you that went before me and the pm responses as there were very helpful.  I'm not sure I should have put the two girls in the same room. There might be trouble.

Well now you have a nice almost bulletproof Valkyrie to ride when you're doing the tedious maintenance on the old one.

Looking good Sheffjs.

BTW, I sent the bars I made and the rear seat handles to the powder coater today.  They will be done in gloss black.

Congrats, Sheffjs.

There's just something about the black finish. It's like the motorcycle Batman should have had all along  Cool

This is the most amazing bike I have ever owned.   266 miles now 40.1 mpg two up I have 0 complaints.  Owned a 1995 GSX 1100g once that was over a 1/2 second faster in professional rider 1/4 mile but the way this bike carves is so far my biggest joy.  Found 121 today (two up).  I'm 53 now I should not be doing this any more.

Glad you've seen the light with this new Valk!

Why they aren't selling better, I don't know, but if it's our little secret that's ok too! Shame though, it will mean very low aftermarket support but it's killer as is so again, I don't mind!

Mind if I ask what the black plastic bezel part number is? That chrome is blinding in the light and I'm headed to FL on her this Memorial Day, would be nice to have before I head out!

Enjoy the 120+ runs when it's all clear, I know I do  Evil

Cheesy Just put another 144 miles on my black beast and still can't believe the smooth, silky torque  of this bike. I wish the Honda bags weren't so much. Maybe someday. I like the factory seat so far.
Congrats!! I wasn't even in the market when I found this one on sale. Couldn't say no!!!

You got that right.

Believe it or not I was dead set on a leftover 2012 ST1300. My dealer had both the ST and the Valk available for test rides. Tried them both back to back and there was no question which was the right fit for me.

Glad we've got a place to share info and affection towards this great bike!  Cool
