I took the silver coloured handles off my bike and sent them to the powder coater to be done in gloss black.  I was originally going to get them done in a flat black, but my wife changed my mind.  I am glad that she did.  They look great and now they don't stick out like a sore thumb.  The colour is actually pretty close to the black on the bike.  Although, the pictures show a much lighter colour.

I also got back the handle bars that I made, but those pictures will be posted when I get the other parts to put them on.

...........  I can't say I think it looks right in my opinion.  It just looks out of place to me. Like it shouldn't be that way.

Also, the blue valks have black handles.

I just didn't want to pay $200 each for them from Honda. Powder coating only cost $100.

Next, will be the valve covers, timing chain cover and the exhaust.  Probably this winter.  Maybe I should have bought a blue valk and painted it black.   Grin

I can't believe you said that!!  I was thinking the same thing when I was pulling the trigger as there was one of each on the floor.

Hey I got all my black plactic covers as you did can you give me some tricks so I don't bust the old plastic off.

I used the manual and a you-tube video from power commander... they
have an installation video where they have to take off a lot of plastic
to get to the throttle bodies. I took lots of pictures of each plastic
part I removed prior to removal to help figure out how to put
it back later. That plastic cover over the headlight was real hard
to get off, but it really does slide out like they say... If you've never
experienced the plastic fasteners they use, you're in for some
fun...  Smiley

I wish I could help you, but the dealer changed mine.  It was part of the deal when I bought the bike.

Or find someone with a blue one that wants the chrome/silver stuff and trade.
