latest post from the owner. suggest more persons contact him to show interest as he noted. Looks to me that it will be a fantastic mod to our bikes.  cooldude
C5 ignition is a multi-spark (to redline) ignition system, that means better HP/ftlbs and MPG.
search their site to see completed kits for the early Goldwings. There are some prototype pics for the GL1500.

"I had no idea there were others interested.

I've got to make 10 parts at a time so perhaps if a few emails showed up I'd move this up the "honey do" list

Thank you for asking and I will try to make this a bigger priority. I love working with forced induction engines!"

I'd very much be interested in a new product that does what the old Dyna 3000 did.  If better plug wires and coils come with it, all the better.  Hoping he makes one soon that will fit my 98 Valkyrie F6.

this company http://www.powerarc.com/  makes the ignition system,
C5 is adapting it to a GL1500 engine and other Goldwings

C5 is a complete ignition comes with coils. Pretty sure you need to supply the plugs and wires though. It is a fully programmable system with 3 full sparks every cycle.

"I know with a decent production run we can stay well below that and it will be a superior ignition in many ways. Multi spark ignition, four timing maps, center adapter, base plate, gasket, aluminum cover, mounting hardware, three new micro coils, and all new spark plug leads. Unless you live in Wisconsin you won't even pay sales tax."

Slabghost, I see he mentions u in a post, u going to be a Beta tester?

Not sure if I'll be a beta tester but one of the first few. I worked with Paul on one of the first goldwings to run his ignition. I'm happy to report it still runs like a beast!

I had the C-5 on my 1100. It cleared up a lot of my coil problem. It did come with new coils and wire.

Made a vast improvement on the 1100.

Paul is great to work with.

this is the latest from Paul. He is in Hortonville, Wisconsin, so any local owners interested?

"Once things slow down a bit I hope to find a local owner so we can test fit the kit. If there is a problem with it, I want to have access to it personally.
If anyone wants to donate a crashed one with a working engine I'll gladly pay for shipping!"
