I changed the oil in the new Valkyrie with that stuff... It cost an arm
and a leg, it must have gold in it.

It runs better, shifts better and avoids radar now!

-Mike "OK, there's some vague feeling that maybe it shifts a little cleaner..."

I have used that oil.  Like you said it is expensive but it is the life's blood of the machine right?  Last couple of times I have used Valvoline 15W-50 part # VV743.  Superior wet clutch performance is their claim.  They also have a full synthetic for about $5 a quart more money.  Hey Mike you started the oil thread. Just dropped out my oil after yesterdays ride. I always used regular Shell Rotella 15-40 Dino oil, never an issue. But yesterday I bought Rotella T 5-40 Full Syn, so we will see if there is any noticeable difference in shifting and noise? I change my oil every 5000 miles, same as my truck which runs Semi Syn.

My old Triumph Rocket 3 had the 15w50 Mobil 1 as the recommended oil by Triumph. It took 4.7 quarts or something like that. That stuff was hard to find & expensive! Funny thing was it took the same oil filter as my Valks.  coolsmiley
I did try the 10w40 Mobil 1 motorcycle oil pictured but noticed no difference in my Valks, just a smaller wallet.  Shocked Grin
Rotella 5W40 synthetic since then no problems in anything.
