My friend has a 1993 Honda Goldwing GL 1500 SE. He has been impressed with the mileage and handling I get on my 2001 Standard Valk and 2001 IS, because I went to the Darkside 5 years ago. He would like to know what size and brand car tire he can use on his Wing and what modifications are needed if any. Searching the web is confusing and I figured if anyone has the answer, you guys do!!!! Thanks for all your help you guys are the best!!

                                                Thanks, Kong

I just mounted the Austone Taxi Tire onto my 88' GW. Loved it. Took it out for a test before placing all the plastic back on the bike, and at low speed I didn't notice anything different from the removed MC tire (balance, steering).

Only 1 tire size. A little larger. Approx 200 rpm slower at 70mph. 175r16 rings a bell.

Went to Inzane and back, already 3K miles on it, and again, didn't notice any difference from a MC tire.

Others have reported 30K miles on it. So it will take me a while to wear it out. Just buying a Bridgestone Excede Max radial for the front tire replacement, based upon another's recommendation.
