Author Topic: blue & white headlight wire  (Read 1406 times)

finally had time to install the lights I got. But didn't have time to disassemble the headlight to find the blue & white wire that I was going to use as the trigger wire. Does anyone know if you can find the wire somewhere else besides the headlight case?

Headlight shell is the only place for the blue & white wire, unless you want to dig into the switch housings on the handlebars.  You could trigger from the accy wire under the right side cover, but that won't give you the start interrupt that the blue & white wire gives (its the feed wire to the dimmer switch thats interrupted when you push the start button).

Thanks for the info. Leaving tomorrow for TN. at 6PM to ride the Dragon wanted extra lights being mostly a night ride down. For now just have a hot from the battery thru a switch to trigger the relay. Will change when I get back
