You are probably not going to believe this    B  U  T   I, ME, and myself has committed to Rams to come to the roundup,  B U T he was in Mississippi and I did not  get to see him. They is another Kentucky rider     W  I  L  L   be at the roundup.  Just got back from  our state rally in Frankfort, Ky. and was hoping to get as much info from him to know the details and such.  I made a phone call to him to let him know that I would indeed be able to come.  I hope he is as excited as I was cause I have not had the pleasure of visiting the state of Indiana.  I  will soon get to contact him an discuss the ride details as it gets closer.        LOOK  OUT   YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED   G  A  B  B  Y  WILL BE RIDING AGAIN   !!!!!

Gabby    crazy2 crazy2

Gabby,
I very happy you'll be making the journey up to Madison with Terry and I.    We'll talk soon about working out the details.    I'll be making another round of calls to those on my list who indicated they would try to come to the Dragon Round Up.

Seems like someone was going to produce a list of those who had committed to attending, just curious, not  busting on anyone.

I guess there's no way to tell just how many of the folks currently signed up are two up or solo riders.    Or should I say, sign ups don't actually reflect how many Valkyries will be present.

Was just trying to look and estimate how many Valkyries will be at the hotel.   Didn't expect to see Inzane numbers but it would be nice.    I appreciate the effort to put that sign up page out there.   Thanks.   cooldude

I'm thinking there will be between 40 and 50 bikes. We have 32 rooms booked so far and if 10 of those rooms have 2 riders that's 42 bikes. I know a few are staying off site. We may be pushing 60.

For anybody that might be interested, there will a bike show in Louisville Ky one hours ride from Madison on Hwy 62, this is a great two lane road, can be a little confusing getting across the river to down town louisville with alll the construction going on, I plan on being there for a few hours, this is kind of a smallish show with a very wide diversified show of bikes of all kinds, I don't know how to post a link, just google "Kentucky Kickdown 2015" this is there 3rd year putting this on, kinda cool.... cooldude

http://www.kentuckykickdown.com/about.html

About The Kentucky Kick Down Motorcycle Show

The mission of the Kentucky Kick Down is to gather vintage two-wheeled enthusiasts as a community to celebrate, educate and further bike culture.

Kentucky Kick Down is a vintage motorcycle show that is open to all makes of bikes that are twenty-five years and older. Admission is $5.00 for adults. Children 12 and under are free and must be accompanied by an adult. Motorcycles of all makes and years are absolutely welcome, but show judging will be limited to vintage motorcycles only. There will be motorcycle parking for non-show bikes this year for $15 which includes your admission to the show. The event will also include an art show featuring local and regional artist, live music, vendors, a pool tournament, plus plenty of local food and drink. It will take place at The Barret Bar, with part of Barret Avenue closed for the event.

There you go.    But, I believe the organizers have a pretty full day scheduled for Saturday and I'm not about to miss that Saturday ride.

Come Friday, Meet and Greet, (watch yer back though, there's some pranksters in the group) spend the night and then go to the bike show or not.
Personally, I wouldn't miss this Valkyrie outing for love nor money (well, that's not totally true, how much money do you have?).  I'll be visiting with some old friends, making new friends and seeing a bunch of the sexiest motorcycles ever built.    Yeah, I know where I'm gonna be.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I wrote a reply earlier but I suppose it did not post it correct.  I am planning on coming up with Rams and another fellow and I have a request.  If someone that has already booked a room and can possibly allow a fellow valk rider to pay half the expenses to stay with them it would be greatly appreciated.  I ride a 99 Valk Interstate that is green and silver.  I am pretty clean (as bikers go), don't snore, am a diabetic with some meds to take, and best of all,  I AM QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT THAT IS FREE   !!!!
PM if you would as it would mean a lot to me.

This year the ride is 128 miles give or take.  We will leave the motel at 9am and work our way in the country side to Dillsboro. this will be the first break and gas stop and then to Rising Sun for lunch At the Rising Sun Hyatt-Grand Victoria Casino. There you will have a choses of food  (buffet, hamburgers and fries pizza and sky line Coney’s and chill.  They are giving us a private room. After lunch a ride along the Ohio River back to Madison to the James FD Lanier State Park and Historic Site.   Here we will regroup for those that want to hang at the park and river walk or visit the shops in Madison or go back to the motel.

Sounds like a great day of riding Steve.   Really looking forward to it.    Not as much as Gavin may think but, still looking for a great evening prior seeing old friends, making new ones and a great day on Saturday.   I sincerely appreciate it that you Indiana folks put this on.

Gabby,
Not to be complaining but, does this mean you definitely aren't needing that room mate and going with what I suggested when you didn't have a potential room mate?    Just trying to make sure someone isn't thinking they have a room mate and then don't.   Or, just making sure that I don't move forward with my plan and you end up staying with a room mate.

I'm so confused.    crazy2

I really like your plan and it will make my bucket list with a fresh line thru one of my " things to do".  I sent you a pm trying to explain and I will call as the time gets closer.  Be thanking you a lot for all you do and I will see the Pope next week to have your sainthood completed.  HE  HE  HE  HE  !!!!
