I love the look of my new valk. Some don't like the rediator pods, but I do. After riding my I/S for 12 years I just couldn't go to something smaller. The pods give the valk a nice muscular look. Plus, they do make for nice cool riding on a hot day. Many folks that have seen it really like the look. I like the fact that it looks futuristic, because it is.

I love my 97 Standard. Perhaps dated by today's standards as far as motor size as even V-Twins have more displacement. For those that love the "old" style it's not our fault that Honda let us down (IMHO). All we needed as 2000cc's, 120+ HP, 6 speed transmission and it would have been "the" best bike of all time. I love my '97 and will never sell it...may buy more bikes, but will always keep my 97. Had it up to a modest 120 mph yesterday with more room to go... not shabby for an old man (60+) and a old bike. lol

well 97blkstandard i hear you loud and clear, i had a 98 and had no intention on getting rid of it. every single time i got on it i was very proud of what i was riding and still think it was one of the nicest bike i ever seen. unfortunately a bad driver took it away just a short 2 months ago. i am now riding one of the nicest bikes i have ever seen, the next generation valkyrie..... torn between 2 lovers... they both are very fine bikes!!
