H4 LED headlight lamp

Great gear and great people to deal with.   

On my 800, I have one of their H7s in my low beam housing, another of their H7s in my high beam housing (with driver mounted externally and the housing cap modified to clear the fan) and two of their Long Range Optimus Auxiliary Lights mounted to their bike-specific light bar. 

It's crazy how much light I put out, but not as crazy as the Cyclops setup on HayHauler's 800!

well got the headlights installed today. deffinatly had to remove fairing to get the clips in.
had to get home just before dark before i got dumped on with rain.
so my impression is still out wether or not i like them.

well the verdict is in. i like them alot. got stuck in traffic so i turned on my manual switch to run the fan.
voltage used to drop to 12.5 when idling with the fan running. now it stays at 14.0 volts. by george i think we have a winner for headlights.

Never heard of Rick doing anything that didn't make sense and improve the bike.    Based on his word, I'll be looking seriously at this for later this fall.   Thanks for the call Rick.

i have the head light and both driving lights and when i hit the light it up button it lights it up!!

I've said before, I would be interested in trying out the new LED headlights if I didn't already have a solution with my 130/90 headlight mod together with aircraft landing light spots.

Now I have another Valk coming, a '97 Tourer.  I have a list of mods I'm doing to it.  Just ordered this bulb, it's enroute already.  Also will be adding spots.

Dunno why  quoted and nuffink agin yer 1st sirrius ride (nice legs).....butttt urrrrggrrh, as desmo 450 duke.

I've ridden a couple hundred miles at night now with the cyclops. I like it. Driving with bright on and 30 watt running lights no one has flashed brights at me. But the illumination definitely seems brighter and cleaner. Any suggestions for led running lights?

I have the Cyclops on hand, standing by to install it on my new Tourer - if it ever gets here - thanks a lot HAULBIKES, we are at 35 days when it was promised to be 14-28, still in York PA, while they took payment in full. And still with no plans to deliver it, no driver assigned, they just update me with a new lie every week.

Anyway, I have a lot of mods on hand now, including a beautiful pair of 4in Drag Specialties  "bullet" spots for the forks and some also beautiful Vizor Bullet small spots for the crash bars.  The big spots are actually headlights with H4 bulbs and also a parking light.  I used the same brand spots on wifey's Magna, and wired them with relays to support independent control of the spot's hi and lo beams, as well as have them follow the headlight switch.  She drives in the daytime with them all 3 on hi beam, and I can tell you, she will never be hit because a turning or oncoming driver didn't see her.  They are absolutely blinding.

Now I'm going to wire my Tourer's spots the same way, but if I'm really impressed with the Cyclops LED H4, I'll get 2 more for the spots. This bike has a standard alternator rather than the big Compufire I have on Deerslayer, so I'll be looking for watt savers.

Got mine about 2 weeks ago & I must say that is one bright mofo. Only problem is, now my driving lights look terrible next to them. Waiting for a couple of new LED'S for that fix. One major question though, when reinstalling the metal wire retaining clip I had a hard time fitting it just right. The diameter of the  finned housing on the Cyclops is bigger than the standard bulb & it seems to want to pull the bulb on an angle (it doesn't want to fit flush with the seat). Anybody else experience this ? If so what are your remedies & does anyone have any pictures of the solution ?

I had a prob getting mine on. I think I just got the screw started and fit it around. If I recall right, it wasnt perfect but the bulb didnt move any.
