Here's the 15 inch.  Very easy to install.  I'm 6ft1 and see over with ease.  I'm not sure how high or low I'm supposed to have it mounted.  I installed it high to begin with.   I'd say the top of the windshield was probably 4 or 5 inches above the mirrors.  I didn't actually measure it I just eyeballed it.  I was worried bout the gap between the bottom of the windshield and the headlight housing.  It was probably an inch and a half.  I thought the gap would allow air to come up and hit me in the face.  So I took it for a 65mph ride and it was fine.  So halfway thru my ride I pulled over and adjusted it down so there was almost no gap and drove it back home that way and it didn't make a difference.  It worked fine.  I woulda liked it to be a little wider but it worked fine and actually I kept my shied on my helmet open with no glasses and I had no wind in my face.  Worked pretty good.  I've had 4 bikes and this is my first windshield so its trial and error but I like it so far.   This is the medium grey.

Great looking windshield! That's my next upgrade, this weekend I am adding fog lamps from SOCALMOTOGEAR, going to attempt to make the amber section work.

I'm actually going to call Gustafssson on Monday to complain about the install on my 8-inch, which I just put on Friday.  You said yours was very easy - see how high they drilled the arms through your 15-inch shield?  This allowed plenty of mounting choices and an easy installation.   The 8-inch shield's arm are drilled through the shield at a very low point, leaving almost NO tolerance for mounting in the install.  I have only about 1/8 inch of space between the shield and the headlight, and that was gotten after WAY over an hour of fitting and refittng because the tolerance was absolutely unforgiving (which means that my arms have marks from several failed attempts).

They only need to mount the arms 1/4 inch lower through the shield, so as to raise the shield by that amount as fitted and leave enough leeway to allow a pain-free install, but they didn't do that.  Mounting the 8-inch is a ROYAL #$@* PITA and it was totally unnecessary.

I can see how that would suck.  I had to have my wife hold the windshield in place while I tightened the clamps down cuz everything was flopping all over the place.   The only complaint I have is that when you put the little plastic sleeves they give you over your handlebars to protect them from getting scratched from the clamps, I couldn't close the clamp enough for the bolt to go straight thru.  So you either gotta use some duct tape underneath the clamps or make Dang sure you got the clamps where u want them and give Nina leave them there.  Other than that no complaints for mine.

Could you please turn the photos the correct way. If you took them with an Iphone and have a Windows computer you can change it by right clicking on the photos and change rotation. Or by rt clicking and open with Microsoft picture manager select rotation in the menu

Thanks windshield looks good by the way.  cooldude

I have tried that with the pics on other posts and it didn't make a difference when I uploaded them.

As far as the pics go, it seems to happen just when viewing them on this site.   Here's regular links to open the pics in a separate browser.   Hope it works.

cooldude Looks nice and yes the second set of links help big time.  Now is that supported by two rods or is there something I can't see in the pics?

Can you please do a side shot.  I want to see the angle.

I am starting to really like what Mike did with the stock high windshield.

I had a good amount of time behind my Secdem windshield yesterday an actually the first time I have had a good ride with it. I never passed 80mph yesterday (rare for me) but up to 80 it gave me no buffeting and was great. I am 6' nothing and I see over the top of the windshield perfect for me.  Glad there are options here.

IMHO that Secdem is the most handsome tall shield for the Valk available.  I'm tempeted to try it once the weather starts turning cool.o

Sheffjs.....yes just the 2 rods support it.  I'll take a side shot tomorrow.  The way the clamps work in conjunction with the rods there's just about any kind of adjustment you could want.  I'll take a pic of them too.....

Robert.....you're correct.  The Corbin bags won't work with passenger floorboards.  Those are the Honda passenger floorboards and up front are kuryakin mini boards.   A WORLD of difference from the stock pegs.  That backrest is the Corbin oval backrest they carry for our valks that bolt directly to the Honda sissy bar....

if you do please  consider picking this up from ebad it is excellent quality and will leave you with extra parts. I used the Secdem lower brackets and these for the top. Also I want to see a tinted Secdem one day, as they have a lot of tint options along with custom sizes.

Those Slipstreamer upper arms and handlebar clamps look pretty much exactly like the arms and clamps supplied with my 8-inch Gustafsson.
