I know it's been a long while since I've posted. Just wanted to let ya'll know that I've made a mile stone today. As some of ya'll know I finally got my own ride last year. FREE SPIRIT. Anyway,went riding with the Mississippi Captain today, Warlock and his beautiful bride Cool Breeze. As always he had us a gorgeous ride laid out. Also, BIRD,Monty,Rusty and Sugar Bee. Was good seeing everyone again. Anyhoot.....I have a little over 1,000 miles under this newbie to the VAlk belt. WOO-HOO!!!!! As I was riding I kept thinking about the many ride I took on Magoo's bike when we was a teenager. I truley am a VALKLADY now. I needed this ride so bad. Even though scattered showers was predicted today, we missed out on them. Perfect day for a ride. With the scattered showers chance it was not all that hot to ride today. We had our smörgåsbord of road kill though. Raccoon,snake,deer and skunk.YUM!YUM!!!!!!!!!!!   |

Good for you Moonshine.....it was a gorgeous day here in SW Virginia today too. We got in about 200 miles. Gonna do it again tomorrow too !! Be careful on the Valk......see ya down the road somewhere !!!

I tell ya'll....it feel so good to be back riding again. Even though it's only been about 34 years since I actually rode a bike. It was a Honda 175 back then. Honda true and blue. Thanks for the posts back. Just been busy alot at work and with Savannah. Work different schedules at work. Sometimes don't get off till 10 at night. UGH!!!!!!! Don't think I will ever get to the relaxing stage...cause if I do just might go down. The safety course is always on my mind for emergency situations. Always riding invisible. But, I am not tense on her. Just like old days but, with a bigger ride. Loving it!!!!!!!!!!!
This is just to AWESOME!!!!!!

Well you are still alive!!!! I'ts been a while since we heard from you. Glad you got out and rode today. That's a good group of folks you ride with. I hope to ride with y'all soon. I worked and cleaned on mine yesterday but you can bet I will ride today and tomorrow. Like Misfit said, "don't stay away so long."
BTW, that's a pretty grandbaby.
