Picked up my 2003 standard from local shop, where fork seals were replaced. On way home, noticed that neither directional worked. With extra hard pushing, the right would work sometimes. With a firm push to left, the left blinker would work TWENTY seconds after the button was pushed. Could anything related to fork seal work have affected the directional? Or, has switch just chosen to act up at that moment? (They worked perfectly when bike went in) Also, anything I should try? Or, just order new button?

Take the switch apart, clean the old grease off and regrease with dilactic grease.  Should be as good as new
