Cheesy First, I've got to complain one more time about the front Dunlop. Why would you put a straight grove in the middle of a motorcycle tire? Do the Japanese like to follow grooves in the road??  So after paying the dealer $170.00 to mount and balance both tires, YIKES!!! I rode the Valk on familiar roads with bad pavement, don't have to look to hard in Colorado as our governor really sucks!! in most categories. All the tire posts are correct, I could see the grooves coming but never felt them even when I drove into them on purpose. All I can say to you Dunlop riders is get the front replaced if you cant afford both right now. The Dunlop is dangerous on the front of these excellent bikes. My mechanic had never seen these bikes and took it for a test spin to make sure the tires were balanced and of course he wanted to! He has 19 years at various dealerships in town and has worked and ridden on about everything out there. He had one sentence, that bike feels like a sport bike not a cruiser. He was blown away how it turns and handles as we owners know so well. Anyway, get the Michelin pilot 4 trail and enjoy!!

***Outstanding post man.  I utterly agree...and have said this many times before.  The stock tires are downright dangerous, and Honda is stupid as hell to keep selling the bike with these tires!  I almost feel that I should be reimbursed the nearly 500 dollars to replace them on a damn near brand new bike...  Aside from that...yup...the Michelin tires as mentioned completely transform the bike into a sport touring machine with a far more comfortable ride...and HANDLES!
