So the wife had to work today so it was the first time that I was able to run with the the stock solo seat in quite some time meaning, I have had time to get used to the Corbin and now going back to the stock seat I realize that unless I am on the highway pegs it is a strange and painful seat. Having said that, the Corbin is also better if I am on the highway pegs but a still a much better seat.  I still want to know what a Russell day long would have to offer comfort wise having one on a 1500.  But! If I go with a Russell I have to have the grab rails, killing the awesome look when this bike is solo!  I know B, get the wife a can am uglystupid2     Next, opinion please, if the round sail panel badges were removed and the hole was filled and sanded smooth and then repainted black eliminating it all together do you think it would look better?

I like the emblem on the side but my bike is the same color as the emblem. I know this is 180 from your idea but was looking at these for my bike to light up the emblem. I dont know yet but since they are led and low power they may be able to hook into the turn signal wires or just hook them to running lights.

Come on Jerry,

What woman wouldn't want a sexy roadster like this.  Hell, I even like riding this one.  It is 1330cc of pure fun.

And...you could match, just like we do.

Na, the badge looks good.  I think you need to paint those forks black.  I wanted to do that to mine this winter, but I won't have it at my place this winter to do that.

That is the new Can-Am F3.  Three cylinder 1330 cc with a semi auto 6 speed transmission.  The transmission is totally different from the older models.  My wife flies with this thing.  She easily keeps up with me.  I have had the thing up to 100mph, and it holds the road like it is on rails.

I try to tell people the same thing but all too many of them have been brainwashed by the man-boys who write all the motorcycle rags, where if a bike can't wheelie it's not even worth riding.  Sypders are awesome to ride.  I was *this close* to getting one but decided to get the Valk instead.  Love your F3!

My stepdad had one...he loved it...I took it for a ride...NOT my thing...corners like crap...although better then a trike I will say, but the Valk destroys it....

They can actually corner quite decently they just corner differently.  You must consciously accelerate through the corners and hang off more actively than a bike; I think most riders think "cruiser" when riding one but it you think more "sportbike-standard" the dynamics will make more sense.

I could see that...but their weird man...I just cannot get used to them..their definitely not a bike...if I were to want one of those...well, I'd rather have some kind of cool, small, convertible car...something like a Toyota MR2...

The trike thing was a problem for me also, while they look good and perform well the cornering in a 3 wheel vehical makes me nervous.

Guys,

The new F3 is a totally different animal compared to the other older styles.  This one sits lower, has more power, and has better handling.  My wife has rode it all day without any fatigue, and she loves the curves.
Probably the next improvement they will make is a leaning roadster.
By the way guys, BRP doesn't call them bikes, they call them roadsters.

Yeah, they've introduced the F3-T but it has about 1/2 the storage space of the RT and the ST-S Limited.  I drove a 2014 ST and it's important to remember the new suspension introduced in 2013.  I liked its sport feel and the revvy engine.  I've sat on the F3 at the dealers and it seems really nice.

My wife has had a 2009 RS, 2013 ST Limited, and now the F3.  She prefers the F3 over the other ones.

I've seen / read that from several other F3 owners, very happy with them.  Maybe I'm strange but I liked the V-Twin more than the inline-3, the triple is more refined but, well, less 'zippy'.  I found the V-twin more exciting to ride than the RT but I can understand how for most other (normal?  Cheesy) people, the RT / inline-3 would be more acceptable (the other rider, when we switched bikes, wanted the RT back!)
