I'm looking at a 1998 Valk Tourer for sale as part of a Estate Sale  ..... I was wondering if a VRCC member would be up for a ride out Irving to look at Valk Tourer for me and give it the once over to see and hear the bike run before I make the trip up to Big D .....  The Valk has being put up for sale by the family after the father had passed away about a year ago and the Valk is the last thing to sell by the family ....  If I can get a VRCC member to look at the tires to see if it's roady worthy hopefully with no dry rot , hear it start up and run and check out just the over all general condition of the bike .... The Valk is located in Irving about 15 minutes from the airport according to the son and is parked at his Uncle's house in the garage .....  So if  a VRCC member is interested and has the time this week to go out and take a look at the Valk before the weather changes on Sat. from what I hear , I would appreciate it .... I'll have the address , phone number and name of the contact person to pass on ..... Thanks Old Geezer Richard   crazy2

Hey Richard
My son is looking to sell his 03 std with 20K miles.  Lots of custom stuff (hard, lockable, lighted bags, etc).  You have seen the bike and have been riding with it.  You probably don't remember but we met you in San Antonio and ya'll rode with us to Coopers in Llano several years ago.

Hey my Good Friends , I had wanted some in put for a good of mine in Kerrville who was looking at this Valk for sale on Craigslist before he drovde up and bought it  ..... So me and John drove up yo Arlington Sat. morning and got that 1998 Tourer for $4300 with only about 6850 miles on the clock under 7,000 miles , this was an Estate Sale by the family ..... It needs some detail cleaning , oil change and a new front tire but other than that I think he got a good deal .... The family paid to have the tank and carb.'s cleaned and rebuilt and they had a brand new Dunlop front tire ready to mount and put a new battery to boot , so thanks guy's for your your input ....  Thanks the Geezer    crazy2
