Since I don't have an I/S I have nothing for comparison in this case. I recently picked up a trunk mount for use when traveling. The rear cross member(the chrome one) has a rubber plug in both ends. When I looked on the parts breakdowns, the p/n for both ends are the same, but the shape of the cross member is different. The left side is cut vertical and the right side is cut at approx. 45 degrees. That obviously would mean different plugs are involved since the right side would have to be larger, but the p/n is the same for both ends. Am I missing something here? I have two plugs for the left side, none for the right, so I'm wondering if something goes in the right side that causes it to use the same size plug.

it's the same plug for both ends..the angled one just pushes in alittle farther than the straight cut end..

All Interstates come with a radio, and the antenna mounts on that chrome bar on the right side, hence that plug isn't visible, and is just crammed up there.
