John, Stu (or anyone else in the area for that matter)
I hope to be doing some wrenching myself this week as I'll have parts in and plan to dig into a few rear ends. My new tires should be in so I'll be making a trip to Topeka to pick up the front and get them both mounted as well. Need to swap hard bags onto the wife's new standard and some toher odds and ends.

If you make it through the Wamego area give me a holler and I'll buy you a drink!

I might be up for a cassoday ride Sunday. My girls get back from vacation tonight so I'll have to make sure they don't have something planned for me already first.
I'll update the thread when I know for sure and here is my number

My daughter just got back into town and she's asking when we are going to ride - I think cassoday might work out for us. I'll update the thread tonight.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances - I'm in. See you at C store about 7:30
I'll post if I can't make it for some reason - and no, a little rain in the air or the forecast won't stop me.

Well the radar picture looks mixed, most of it could stay west of the i35 corridor but if it slides east it will be very wet. Any opinions yet this morning?

We made it home about the same time Ty, With about the same amount of miles in the rain. LOL

Was a good ride, I needed to get out and see some new friends, It was good to get Kerri out for a ride again too.

All in all for an impromptu meet 'n ride with the remnants of a tropical storm hanging over us it was a pretty good day. Cool temps, not too much rain and a couple hundred miles in places I haven't seen in a while. Thanks to everyone, and I home Joe is ok  Grin

I'll be going down with a group that is promoting the ride for the red cross but I don't have set plans on getting back. Would love to meet some more Kansas riders!

Should be a slower day at Cassoday with the ABATE event going on at lake Perry.

Well Engemt,

It was a good ride out.  I got off work at 7am and we took the back roads down.  Stopped and grabbed breakfast and then made it down to CASSODAY (you would think someone living just an hour away new how to spell the city!  2funny 2funny , sorry couldn't resist it  Evil  )

Well I tried to locad "WDValk" but no such luck.  Next time Wayne  cooldude  It was good to see Dana hadn't been able to catch up with him this year so that was my extent of viewing the bikes.  I got off the bike and found "johnny on the spot" and then visited with Dana.  We then left and headed north back to Hays House to eat lunch and then we departed and headed home.  I think I rolled in just about 4pm.   It was good times.  Here are the only two pictures I managed to take.  They were us as we left Cassoday and was heading to eat.  I had to take a leak and of course all the gas stations were packed so we pulled into a park area and found a John (no pun intended JOHN).   So that is when I took these pictures.  Ty it was good to visit and eat with you and ride back home...

Good times and good fellowship  cooldude

Hey Joe. Just a little report on Potwin, had a great time, they have a nice set up,I see this second Sunday ride in growing alot next year. Guestament of 350 bikes today.I actually think the atmosphere  was more fun than Cassoday{my opinion} Spotted 2 other Valks other than the 2 with me. Next one is November 14.
