I've found new 2014 Valkyrie for under $10K

Kidd, which dealer are you coming to Phoenix to see?  I just made an appointment at Western Honda to get the GW recall done. Perhaps I'll test sit a Valk while I'm there.
I'm not ready to trade up yet. I'm still trying to wear out my '99 IS

The two I found  under $10K are not in Phx area , they are a couple of states over .
Will be going to Phx in January , if it's warm enough to drive one .
There's a burgundy Valk  at  W Honda in Scottsdale  I am interested in , love the color .
It's not the only new Valk in Phx area  for sale  , there are many others

That's a great deal man...I paid like 11.5K for mine last May and I thought THAT was a good deal.  I would ensure that there isn't any other bogus charges on top of that...but you'd know that anyway before buying it...I would ask for an out the door price before making the journey.

It's amazing how this bike isn't more popular...humans are so 'sheepish'..wanting to be like everyone else...and I know that it also flows into the practical side of limited aftermarket support...Honda isn't making them etc.  But, bottom line it's an awesome bike man...  Only downside for me was the stock tires...other then that...oh, and the hard seat...all of which can easily be remedied...

But every time I ride it...especially after 20 minutes or so after she warms up good...man...the engine alone is outstanding...and it's SO, so cool to have a bike that is unique...I feel like 007 or something riding it....lol People are ALWAYS complimenting my blue beast!

This is not true , we have high interest in G warming  , we support completely which is why we drive cars with big motors   Cool

I am not convinced it's real  cuzz  I remember the coming  ice age of the 1970s that never arrived

Actually, I don't and have never / no interest in changing exhausts, for just that reason: the OEM exhausts on my bikes have catalysts and I simply don't want to lose that.

On my Valk, if I keep bit below warp 7 she gets 42 MPG. (as if you think keeping this bike below warp 7 is EASY!! laugh ) You would think that such a big bike would drink like a fish but if you treat her like a lady she's a cheap date  Wink  Ride her like her Wagnerian namesake and she'll fully act like one, streaking across the sky while wiping out your defenses simultaneously (as low as 32 MPG or worse, reportedly).

You'll be glad you did.
I put 9,000mi. on mine since May, and as Robert said, "the longer I ride it the more I like it".

We paid $16,400 when they first came out, now they are asking $10,600.

The must have's for me are, in order:
1. windshield
2. throttle lock (vista-cruise)
3. highway pegs
4. bag for the back seat for rain suit, registration, gloves, ect.
5. new seat with rider backrest.
6. GPS w/ XM radio and JM2003 CB
7. LED driving lights for visibility.

This adds up to about $3000 more.

Well , I've got it narrowed down to either  a black with abs   or a blue one   and then there's the burgundy .   Smiley   All three are available .

I lean towards the blue  with 3600  miles and comes with  $1K of accessories   for $10500 no ttl
