Sometimes, often enough to be annoying, when I push for my right turn signal
the button is stuck... it won't go right... I can push it left, or push it in, and it
frees up, but when I need to be signaling a turn, I don't want to mess with that.

Does it happen to anyone else? I remember it happening before I changed out
the bars, so I don't guess it is anything I did...

They do act like a mechanical switch, it may need a little squirt of jump out juice, Silicon is best but WD would work.

Sad Mine does it as well but just once in a while. My Suzuki also can get hung up. I think its the design and how I push it before moving the lever. Good lube and paying attention before I push it seems to help. I had a friend following me one time and couldn't get the damn thing to work so I had to use my arm!!! So he knew I was turning

Mine did that for a while when I first got it.  And its basically a minor manufacturing defect that they did not check well enough before it went out.  IT just a bit of a burr on the mechanism the is causing it.  I wen to my dealer and they showed me how NOT to flip it.  Basically what I was doing was slightly pushing it in as I was flipping it and it would catch that burr.  But if I would position my thumb so that it would catch the lever near the bottom, I never had to deal with it again.  And know the burr is basically gone just thru general usage and I dont have to be so careful.

I wish my burr would wear off. I already have to remember that "horn" and "turn signal"
are reversed between old-Valkyrie and new-Valkyrie.

Mine does that also. It has from the beginning. It used to bother me, and I thought I was going to break it off at some point. My solution is to flick it with my thumbnail.

tickedoff Reversed turn and horn buttons that stick. Way to go Honda. Never had these with my Kawasakis!!! I love honking when I'm trying to turn. If you never ride anything else its fine, but when you do, and I do, I have to retrain my left thumb!! SUCKS!

2funny  I have to laugh at this because the exact same thing has happened to me on the new Valk.  Not every time but just enough that it has bothered me to no end.  Like you, the only thing I could do was push it in which seemed to release the stuck right turn switch mode.  I was going to take it apart and see if there was some reason for the problem, maybe needed some lubrication or something.  It was such a stupid problem that I wasn't going to post anything about it.  But it does appear to not be unique.   It caused me some alarm the first couple of times especially since it happened once when turning right into gas station and I had my lady rider staggered behind me to my right and up close to my bike. 2funny
