So I'm out on a PGR Mission last week and kept finding loose spots in the road when I made a right turn....

Or so I thought.  This is what I found when I was checking the air pressure in the Darkside...

I have seen this on my bike after I due a tire change and service the final drive. It's usually because I put a little more grease on the flange than it needs so when it heats up some of the excess fly's off. After a few miles it stops for me. There is a pretty big seal that can leak but can be replaced pretty easily though. Remember we are all riding vintage bikes now but lets keep them on the road.

Something else to check might be leaking shocks. I had leaking progressives on my interstate that would leave that on the wheel.

Not excess grease the tire has over 14,000 miles on it..

Progressives are not leaking.

I'm leaning towards the seals.  It will go to Big BF as soon as he has an opening..

I'm in Surprise out where the 303 meets Grand Ave..   Did the horn have physical damage?  They are so damn loud how would you know if one stopped working?

Nope I didnt notice it until I walked up to the bike and saw wires...the one horn and the little bracket were gone. I still had the other 3, sent BF a pic and he said it was one of the high tone horns

Have you done any service on the pumpkin lately (change fluid) and POSSIBLY overfilled it a tad??  DON'T ask me how I know this but
I have seen these signs myself in the past - overspray on the wheel.

Possibly the main seal on the drive side of the pumpkin. That's an easy fix.
