Handles Like a New Bike !!!

After replacing my fork seal , dust covers and experimenting with 20wt fork oil and replacing the old fork springs with some prog springs , new La Monster risers and I/S shocks the old Fat Lady is a different woman , I'll say .... no wiggles , jiggles , bottoming out going into corners or turns .... what a big difference .... when me and Lisa went for a ride together she was very impressed with the feel and no mo going up and down like my dad's Cadillac and no more jarring of her back on bumpy roads .... all I can say is WOW ... I had changed my mind about almost spending $ 500 for the prog shocks and thought I'd try the I/S shocks ... so far so good ....

I replaced my fork springs with Progressive many moons ago and remember that same feeling. Now, if I get on a Valk without the Prog springs, it's the first thing I notice......nose dive
Without a doubt, one of the best performance mod I have made to my bike

I just changed my fork springs to progressive, replaced fork seals and bushings, and used AMSOIL 10w fork fluid with about 1/8th inch more than recommended, replaced the steering head bearings (they were worn) and top shock bushings which were also worn and bumped the preset to 3 vice 2. It does ride like a new bike, but I didn't get a nice long ride in or even ride 2 UP on it yet..... but it definately feels much much better so far. I still have an issue I am tracking down and will move my tracing to the rear end I guess. I get a wiggle or jello feeling on the bike when I wiggle the handlebars while parked (of course I'm not doing that while I am riding....). We shall see... I might just ride it for awhile and then dig into it again over the winter.....
