Starting to plan my trip and route to Morgantown WV from Maple Ridge BC, Canada (just over 2 hours North of Seattle). Probably going solo as the wife/co-pilot won't be able to take the amount of time required off work in June, so will be looking to hook up with others travelling from the West. Very preliminary in the planning stages, so basically I'm wide open at this stage. Initial thoughts are to go the most direct (quickest) route there, then take a little more leisurely ride back. Even though my poor old Canadian dollar will be taking a significant beating, I see most of my to and from routes going through the US. Wife's not too crazy about me riding too long of distances on my own, so I'm looking to appease her Grin (and make my trip safer and more enjoyable as well) by finding some riding partners. PM me or post on here if you wish, if you're planning on going and would like a riding partner..... I'm not too fast (or too slow), am a very experienced and sensible rider (15 years on my current Valk IS), have no warrants out for my arrest laugh, and am a pretty laid back guy - Oh my God...sounds like I'm posting on a dating sight 2funny 2funny
Cheers,
Mike

A group of us are leaving from Fargo, ND if you are planning on traveling through the states instead of Canada.  There will be about 5 bikes and a good group of people.  Details are being worked out, but you are certainly welcome to join us.

Well, if anyone is traveling through Kentucky to get there and need a place to rest, give me a shout.
Will be happy to put up as many as I can.   I will be departing Frankfort, KY for Morgantown early enough to make the early bird event.   I'd invite you to come with me but, I sincerely doubt you'll want to follow my RV and I surely doubt I can keep up with you.  Wink   But, if you're game, let's do it!!   cooldude
