What is the difference between the Purolator Pure One PL14610 and Purolator L14610 oil filters, other than cost? They are both about 3 ½” Long.  Undecided

I googled pl14612 vs l14612. Other links say the 'll has finer micron filtering media.

Don't quote me, but the PL14610 is 99% effective and the L14610 is 90% effective.

I asked the question because yesterday I purchased two of the L14610 at Meijer’s.
They were on the clearance rack for $2. However when I went to pay for them they only charged me $1.16 each.

I use an oversized PureOne PL14459. larger dia, same length as OEM, same relief valve specs.
