hey guys, i'm needing a new front tire and was wondering if an h rated tire was ok to run on a 98 standard

Speed rating of H is 130 mph.  If that's not WOT, it's darn close.  Speed-wise, H is fine.

What you want to REALLY make sure of is the load rating.  The Valk is heavy.

You want to know what is the OEM tire rated to, and buy a replacement tire that is either equal to or greater than, that rating (load and speed).

oem is H-rated radial.

I run a V-rated bias-ply on the front and H-rated on the back.
