I know there is only like 3 battery makers and I've always just got a YUASA or BIKE MASTER  brand because the local shop sells them but I found one called FIRST POWER and has the same cold cranking amps and even the same part number for $36, has anyone tried it? All the reviews are good.

WOW, What a price !!!
I just replaced my battery with a Duracell Ultra (Duragm-14) sealed - maintenance free from Battery Plus. It has higher cranking amps than stock YUSA.
However, it cost a $100 with a $10 rebate.

But by that logic, might wanna keep a spare in the saddle bag for a few months, just in case...

Still cheaper than most

Cheap isn't always good.  Tried to save a few dollars over a Yuasa and got two batteries at Walmart. (two Valks) Bought the batteries one year apart.  First one failed before the two year mark.  Went back to Yuasa, from a bike dealer.  Same thing with the second one in the other bike, didn't last two years.

Only buy a Yuasa battery from a M/C dealer.  You may see a Yuasa on the shelf at Batteries Plus, but they are not the same. The manager at a Batteries Plus told me this.  coolsmiley

I have had good luck with Walmart batteries.  I replace them after 4 years whether they need it or not. This one is 3 years in the bike and strong as the day it was installed
