While holding the throttle in one position the rpm's below 2000 are somewhat erratic in gear or in neutral. Is this a problem in the slow speed circuit of one or more of the carbs or just a trait of the Valk engine?

Some of my old Kawi's did that and it was normal

Thanks

I've owned two different Valks and they both do that. Put it in gear and ride off and they are both smooth as a babies bottom.

Mine surges a little a idle too but is smooth after that probably need to sync the carbs!
