head light question,

ok so last night while changing from low to high beam, and I noticed half way both high and low would stay on.... has anyone wired it so when you have your high beams on your low stays on? the light output was very nice...
I do wonder however if there might be a heat problem running both???

I haven't done that, but I do get more light out of my PIAA Xtreme White Plus headlight bulb on highbeam alone than I did with the stock bulb on highbeam + National Cycle light bar. Plug & Play and no heat issues.
